DirectoryURL Documentation
---------------------------------------------------------
Overview
---------------------------------------------------------

This script allows you to easily run a quick and dirty self replicating
website system. Visitors sign up, choose a username, pay thru authorize.net
and get a web address such as http://secret.to/username, This also comes with
a password protected administrative panel to keep track of whats going on in
your system. If you like from here, you can add password protection to the
users directories or possibly even FTP login for them. The ideas are endless.

---------------------------------------------------------
Requirements
---------------------------------------------------------

1. Unix based server.
2. Perl 5.xxx
3. Ability to run CGI scripts.
4. OpenSSL (preferably version 0.9.6)
5. Net::SSLeay (preferably version 1.05)

OpenSSL and Net::SSLeay need to be installed by the system Admin as root.
If your machine does not have these, they can be gotten at the URL's below:

http://www.perlcoders.com/packages/openssl-0.9.6a.tar.gz
http://www.perlcoders.com/packages/Net_SSLeay.pm-1.05.tar.gz

---------------------------------------------------------
Installation
---------------------------------------------------------

This is a super quick install.

Open Configs.pm in a text editor and change all options to suit your server needs,
and your preferances.

Upload all files in ASCII mode. Making sure the data directory is created where you said
it would be in the Configs.pm file you edited.

Change file permissions on the data directory to 777
Change file permissions on the users directory to 777
Change file permissions on the signup.cgi to 755
Change file permissions on the admin.cgi to 755

Test your install by aiming your browser at signup.cgi and going all the way thru the signup
process, then aiming it at admin.cgi and going over everything.

Now you can edit the HTML templates in the templates directory to match your sites design.
Please dont mess with the templates in templates/admin directory as they are for internal
use and you could mess up your admin area badly.

---------------------------------------------------------
Usage
---------------------------------------------------------

Surfers: Simply point visitors at signup.cgi

Admin: Aim your browser at admin.cgi and it should all be self explanatory.

If you have any problems at all with this script, please do not hesitate to contact
us via email at support@perlcoders.com or via our support chat at
