Description
The Internet Layoffs script allows you to keep a running tally of companies that have laid off employees or that are closing, and display them on your site.

Installation
Configuration
- The templates folder contains several files you can edit to control the look and feel of the layoffs data on your site.
This file contains the HTML to be used immediately above the layoff list.
Edit this HTML to change the look of the output directly below the layoff list.
Contains the code used to insert the layoff data.
- %T1%
= The company name.
- %T2%
= Company URL.
- %T3%
= Date.
- %T4%
= Employees let go.
Uploading
Create a directory for the script on your server, which must have CGI access.
Upload all files in ASCII mode.
CHMOD .CGI files to 755.
CHMOD db.txt to 666.
Running
Insert the following SSI tag into the page you’d like to display the layoff data.

or
<!--#include virtual="/full/path/layoff.cgi" -->
Point you web-browser to layoff_admin.cgi to edit the data in the layoff table.
