Historical software reference — discontinued
TotalAVS Pro
A Perl CGI script formerly distributed by the original PerlCoders company. Recorded here because the legacy URL — which contains an encoded space — still appears in archived indexes and needs a stable destination. It is not available, not supported, and not recommended for use.

02
Former purpose
The acronym is suggestive in several directions at once, which is exactly why we are not going to expand it. An archive entry that invents a plausible expansion is worse than an archive entry that admits a gap — the invention gets quoted, and then it is a fact.
03
Historical URL variants
The space in the product name was encoded two different ways in the wild. Both forms normalise to the same identifier and both resolve here.
- /main/scripts.html?script=TotalAVS%20Pro
- /main/scripts.html?script=TotalAVS+Pro
This entry is the reason the resolver normalises rather than matching literally: percent-encoding, plus-encoding and case all vary across twenty years of inbound links, and three near-identical strings pointing at one resource is a routing problem, not a content problem.

Known security advisories
No advisory has been located in our sources, and no assessment is possible without knowing what the software did.
