Former purpose
The archived product page describes sending newsletters in HTML and plain text, with configurable headers and footers and more than one subscription category. That is enough to identify the task; it is not enough to make the old program safe.
Safety boundaryMail software accepts addresses and emits messages. Without maintained validation, authentication, bounce handling and unsubscribe controls, an old CGI implementation should remain offline.
